KATHMANDU, Nov 24: The ruling CPN-UML has refused to accept the fine notice of Rs 100,000 issued by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).
A municipal police team from the KMC on Sunday reached the UML party office to deliver the fine notice. However, the UML refused to accept the fine notice from the metropolis.
UML refused to accept the notice, claiming that they were not the organizers of the event.
Earlier on Friday, the UML held an awareness rally at Durbar Marg. The KMC issued a fine notice to the UML for what it said littering indiscriminately on the streets and sidewalks during the rally.
