UML panel to probe Karki's bribery case

KATHMANDU, Aug 31: CPN-UML has formed a three-member probe committee to investigate into the bribery case involving CA member from the party Dol Bahadur Karki.



The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday evening arrested Karki allegedly for taking bribe from a youth promising the latter a job of police inspector.



"A three-member committee has been formed to investigate into the matter," said a statement issued by the party´s central disciplinary body on Tuesday.



The party said it will take action as per the committee´s report.
