BUTWAL, Feb 17: Over 1800 national convention delegates and leaders of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) got lunch break shortly before Tuesday noon, even without starting the closed-door session. UML leader Ishwar Pokharel said the session that was due to start at 10am got delayed mainly due to lack of power supply.

Tuesday’s closed-door session of the ongoing 8th national convention of the party is going to dissolve the incumbent central committee and form an interim presidium. The session started at 13:40, over three and half hours behind the schedule.
