Tsering´s total of 156 (12-over-par) gives him a five-stroke cushion over Bhuwan Pudasaini of Tribhuvan Army Officers Golf Club and Bikash Bogati of Gokarna Golf Club. [break]
Pudasaini produced a card of 6-over-par 78. Bogati shot 10-over-par 82 for a total score of 161, which leaves him five strokes behind the leader.
Neeraj Rana of Royal Nepal Golf Club (RNGC) scored 6-over-par and remains tied at fourth position with overnight leader Samundra Giri, who had a miserable day scoring 17-over-par. Both players are at 18-over-par 162.
Others in the top ten are Sanjay Lama and Bhuwan Gurung at 163, Charlie Gurung at 164, and Tashi Ghale, Shreejay Acharya, Major LP Gurung and Wangchen Dhondup tied at 166.
A total of 16 players, along with 4-member teams of five golf clubs in Nepal, will make it to the final round.
In the team event Gokarna team comprising Tashi Tsering, Wangchen Dhondup, RK Pradhan and Lobsang Tashi scored 487 to take a 6-stroke lead over Tribhuvan Army Officers Golf Club team represented by NJ Rayamajhi, Puskar Rajbahak, Bhuwan Pudasaini and Gajendra Limbu.
The RNGC team comprising Sanjay Lama, Rabin Rana, Charlie Gurung and Deep B Basnet stands third with a total score of 504.
The final day will be played at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Tuesday, when eight women golfers who have qualified from day one will also join the competition.
