Three Star edged the hosts Sahara1-0 in the final today to clinch the title. A goal by Flemy in the 83rd minute became the decisive goal in favour of Three Star.[break]
With this victory, Three Star bagged 351 thousand rupees while the first runner-up team, Sahara, 201 thousand rupees.
Sahara goalkeeper Ajit Prajapati who was declared the best player of the championship has won a motorcycle. Similarly, Flemy of Three Star who scored the most goals of the tournament received 10 thousand rupees. Pradip Humagain of Three Star Club has been declared as the best coach.
Twelve teams, including two foreign teams, participated in the championship that kicked off on January 22.
