Three arrested for murdering their friend

PARSA, Feb 28: Parsa police arrested three for murdering their friend in a dispute over Rs 3,500.

The arrested individuals are 19-year-old Mukesh Prasad Yadav, Arun Kumar Yadav, and Muna Tiwari, all from Birgunj Metropolitan City-27, Parsa.

The police said the three arrestees murdered their friend, Ishal Prasad Kurmi, after a dispute over money while playing cards. During the argument, Mukesh Prasad Yadav, Arun Kumar Yadav, and Muna Tiwari together killed him and dumped the body in Bhedaha Stream, according to their statement.

Superintendent of Police Gautam Mishra reports that Ishal Prasad Kurmi left his home on February 19.

Ishal, 19, the son of Jogindra Prasad Kurmi from Udaypur Ghurmi, Birgunj Metropolitan City-27, told his family he was going to work. When he did not return home by late night, his family filed a report at the District Police Office Parsa on February 20.

After registering the report, the police searched and found Ishal Prasad Kurmi’s floating body in the Bhedaha Stream on February 23. During the investigation, they discovered that on February 19, Ishal and his friends had a dispute over Rs 3,500 while playing cards, which led to his murder.

The police extended the custody of the three arrested individuals for six more days on murder charges and continue their investigation.
