KATHMANDU, Jan 1: Prime Minister KP Oli, who is also the patron of the National Sports Council, on Friday stressed on the need of understanding the importance of sports.

During a program organized in the capital to mark the establishment day of Madan Bhandari Sports Academy, PM Oli said that the person handling sports administration should be aware about its importance.
"It is important to understand the role of sports for the progress and development of the nation," said PM Oli, who added "Sports should be managed for the progress of entire human race rather than of individuals or groups." Earlier, Oli also inaugurated the website of the academy.
