A single bench of Justice Girish Chandra Lal on Tuesday issued the interim order over the government decision, in response to a writ petition filed by advocate Anchan Bhattarai.
In the petition Advocate Bhattarai had demanded an order to stop the enforcement of the government decision on the radio frequency license, citing it would cause massive loss to the Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA).
The petition has named the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Ministry of Information and Communications and NTA as the defendants.
The court has directed the NTA to be present before the court along with a written reply on the same within the next 15 days.
