Rs 200,000 goes missing from bank account

DOTI, March 12: Deposit amounting Rs 200,000 has gone missing from the account of Poverty Alleviation Fund at Rastriya Banijya Bank´s Silgadhi branch.



The fact came to the light after Kahilu Badaila, president of the Janakalyan Samudayik Organization that mobilizes the fund, filed a complaint at District Administration Office saying the sum was released from the account by using a check with fake signature.



The sum was released on January 27. It bears a signature supposedly of Prem Bahadur Khadka, social mobilizer of the organization.



Police and the bank administration are investigating the incident.
