The gang of looters in the strength of eight to 10 persons murdered Bhakta Bahadur Pradhan, 60, and his wife Mana Kumari Pradhan, 55, besides looting their house at Bisankuna at Listi VDC-5, police said.[break]
Only the old couple had been staying at their house and all their children are living in Kathmandu. Details of the property and valuables stolen from the house is not ascertained yet. The house is located at a desolate place. Police were mobilised for searching for the looters last night itself, the District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk stated.
