Instead, he was arrested along with Krishna Adhikari of Hemja and Yam Bahadur Bhattarai of Armala with two stolen motorcycles, a Bajaj Avenger (Ga 3 Pa 5329) and a Yamaha Libero (Ga 2 Pa 5672), according to chief of Kaski Police Shailesh Thapa.
Meanwhile, Kaski Police on Thursday also made public two youths involved in armed robbery at different places. Shankar Pun, 21, staying in Nadipur, Pokhara-3 and Kiran Pun of Parsyang were held with the stolen goods. Police said Nishan Gurung of Syangja and three other accomplices involved in the robbery are still absconding.
The gang had robbed jewelries worth around Rs 155,000 from the house of Lekh Kumari Gurung of Bhadrakali Chowk, jewelries and Rs 25,000 cash from Dev Krishna Kafle´s house at Bhimkali Marg, Pokhara-1 and a gold chain from Dipa Pokharel´s house at Simpani.
Police have also recovered a digital camera, two gold rings from the gang, according to inspector Rabindra Paudel, spokesperson of Kaski Police.
Police have also nabbed Prem Giri of Pyuthan who had stolen Rs 37,000 from Chet Prasad Tiwari who runs Simrik Communications and recovered the stolen money from him.
