KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Nepal Telecom (NT) has announced a special data package for its GSM prepaid subscriber on the occasion of Father’s Day.
The state-owned telecommunication company in a statement on Tuesday said that the subscribers can purchase 100 MB and 225 MB data packages for Rs 45 and Rs 90 respectively (expect applicable taxes).

To purchase the data packs, subscribers should send a SMS after typing SPECIAL100MB and SPECIAL225MB and send it to 1415 to purchase 100 MB and 225 MB data respectively.
NT said that the purchased 100 MB and 225 MB data packages have a validity of three days and seven days respectively. The data pack can be used only from 5 am to 9 am and from 3 pm to 7 pm.
The offer will be in effect for three months starting Thursday.
