NHRC sending probe team to Janakpur

REPUBLICA, Jan 14: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has begun an investigation into the murder of radio journalist Uma Singh. For this, a team led by Protection Division Chief Yagya Adhikari is flying to Janakpur Friday afternoon. Singh was slain by an unidentified group on Sunday night.

“We will be in Janakpur till Tuesday for investigation,” said Adhikari.
