Sensitive index that shows the trading of Category ´A´ company also went down by 1.74 points to close at 99.5 points. All trading groups, except the Others groups, saw their sub-indices go down on the day´s trading. [break]
Banking -- the heavy weight group in the stock market -- and Development bank groups lost 10.82 points and 8.81 points to settle at 356.56 points and 424.21 points respectively.
Similarly, Hydropower, Finance and Insurance groups dropped 29.54 points, 0.54 points and 5.51 points to close at 634.82 points, 413.78 points and 561.66 points respectively. However, Others group gained 3.52 points to close at 526.38 points on the day.
A total of 80,454 units of shares and 63 scrips worth Rs 26.76 million changed hands through 734 transactions on Tuesday. Total market capitalization was recorded at Rs 315.67 billion.
