The 42-year-old Kharel was also the former central councilor of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ). [break]
He was murdered on 17 July but his family members were informed on Saturday about his death, said Chairman of Media Agency Shishir Sapkota.
Sapkota demanded for the investigation into the murder case. Kharel is survived by a wife, three daughters and a son.
