POKHARA, Feb 1: Nepal Army came from behind to defeat APF Club 2-1 in the quarterfinal of the Seventh Aaha Gold Cup Football Tournament Sunday. [break]
Nepal Army suffered an early setback when Ganesh Lawati of APF Club scored in the 42nd second, the fastest goal in the history of the tournament, to give his side a 1-0 lead in the first half.
However, Kashiraj Rai and Bikarna Shrestha of Nepal Army scored apiece in the 72nd and 88th minutes of the game to steer their team into the semifinals.
