Singh, who was rushed to the hospital on Sunday night, accused the government of trying to frame him. “Even a CA member is involved in her murder,” he told reporters. “But, I will publicize the name only on Wednesday.”
Singh, who was on saline during the press meet, said he would present himself strongly against the government instead of being afraid of it. “Baban is ready to die but will never bow down,” he said.

He claimed that the Maoist and CPN (Unified Marxist Leninist) parties had urged him to join their parties. “Both the parties are conspiring against me as I did not join any of the party,” he added.
He said he had no problem in his chest earlier. “I felt chest problem only after the arrest,” he added. Various Tarai-based organizations have launched protests against his arrest. They have shut down Birgunj town, one of the major commercial hubs in the country, for the last three days.
Doctors in the hospital said his condition was normal and he might be discharged on Tuesday. “Everything is alright now. He may be discharged today itself,” said Dr Suman Prasad.
