The victims are 28-year-old Kidi Rokaya and 15-year-old Bhim Rokaya of Kanda VDC-7. They died on the spot due to electrocution triggered by the short-circuit caused by lightning at their house.[break]
Six people have sustained injuries in the incident. Power supply to the entire village has been knocked off due to the short circuit.
