Tika Devi Chaudhary aged around 26 lost her life due to lightning that struck the house of Sosuram Chaudhary at Bauniya VDC-2, Mainapokhari in mid-part of Kailali last night, confirmed the District Police Office, Kailali.
Sosuram and his 13-year-old son, who lost consciousness in the last night incident, are undergoing treatment in a local health clinic. Both are said to be in normal condition.
Likewise, a lightning occurred at Ghanteswor VDC-3, Ghoradi village in the western belt of Doti killed Tarasi Malla, 60, and Ramkali Dangi, 55, said Man bahadur Malla, a local teacher.
Mall and Dangi, who were critically injured and fell unconscious, breathed their last on the way to hospital.
Other 15 injured in the incident are being treated in a nearby hospital.
