LAHAN, Aug 25: A son has beaten his own father to death over a minor dispute in Lahan Municipality-18 in Siraha district on Saturday.
Inebriated Sanjaya Sadasaya thrashed his 45-year-old father Umesh Sadaya to death, said police.
According to DSP Rajesh Thapa of Area Police Office, Lahan, critically injured Umesh died in the course of treatment at Biratnagar Neuro Hospital.
Police have started investigation into the case after taking the assailant into custody.
