KATHMANDU, Jan 30: Westerly winds are presently dominant across the nation. Due to this, cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, with clear skies forecasted for the rest of the country.
However, light snowfall is possible in a couple of high-altitude locations within Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology reports that fog will cover most of the Terai. This afternoon, Gandaki and Karnali will see partly cloudy weather, while the rest of the country enjoys clear skies.
The department has predicted thick fog in many places of Terai on Friday morning and has urged caution as it may disrupt daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and aviation.
