Govt, Tarai group talks rescheduled for Thursday

KATHMANDU: Peace talks scheduled for Wednesday in Janakpur between the government and Samyukta Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (´Pawan´ group), an underground outfit, couldn´t be held as members of the government negotiating team couldn´t reach to Janakpur. Nepal Television said the talks have been rescheduled for Thursday afternoon.

 

Members of the government talks team couldn´t go to Janakpur because all flights to the town were cancelled due to bad weather.
