KATHMANDU, May 19: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) on Thursday expressed concerns over lack of seriousness among major political parties on peace process and constitution writing.
“FNJ calls on all parties and members of the Constituent Assembly (CA) to fulfill their commitment expressed to the people,” a FNJ release added.[break]
FNJ also decided to hold protest demonstration throughout the nation on May 24 to pressurize the parties. “A rally will be held in Kathmandu in participation of all district committees of the Valley, associate and corporate members,” the release added.
District committees outside Kathmandu will also stage protest demonstrations at the same time.
