Everest Bank pioneers remittance through mobile, internet banking

KATHMANDU, April 18: Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has started facilitating remittance services through Indo-Nepal Remittance to provide faster, safe and secure remittance service from India to any part of Nepal.

In line with its commitment to provide benefit of latest technological advancement to its customers, the bank has enhanced the services related to Indo-Nepal Remittance facility. Now customers desiring to send money from India to Nepal can remit money without visiting the branches or business correspondents of Punjab National Bank (PNB), India by using their own mobile phones or through Internet Banking service, according to the bank.


 

"This service has been introduced to customers for the first time," the bank claimed in a statement, adding that it will benefit a person remitting money to Nepal from India.
