KATHMNANDU, Dec 23: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Narayan Kaji Shrestha on Sunday has denounced the attack on Nepal Republica Media office.
Visiting at the Nepal Republica Media office, Sundhara this afternoon, DPM Shrestha enquired about the incident and also expressed solidarity with the press against such acts.[break]
On the occasion, DPM Shrestha also telephoned the Chief District Officer at Kathmandu and Minister for Information and Communication and directed them to take action against the attackers and initiate necessary measures to discourage such type of incidents against the media in future.
On Thursday, an unruly mob, identifying themselves as cares of Shiv Sena Nepal, had stormed the Media office at JDA Complex, and manhandled journalists and office staff.
