KATHMANDU: Talks between the government and Tarai Virus Killers, a little known armed group operating in the Tarai, is set to begin at the Ministry of Peace and Reconstructions at Singh Durbar at 2 p.m., Thursday. Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Janardan Sharma will lead the government talks team. Minister for Local Development Ram Chandra Jha and Minister for Education Renu Yadav are other members in the government talks team. The talks team of the armed group arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday evening. The government provided security to them all the way to the capital. In October, the government had formed a team to hold dialogue with several armed groups operating in the Tarai.
