Mahat said since democracy was still in peril in the country, the Nepali Congress has continued its movement for protecting democracy and the nation-wide awareness campaign was a part of this campaign.
He also complained that his party was finding it hard to carry out works in the midst of the autocratic tendency of the Unified CPN (Maoist) and the double-standards of the CPN (UML).
Party leader Mahat said there was very less possibility of completion of the peace and constitution by August 31 and called on the party supporters to prepare for a vigorous movement.
