KATHMANDU, Feb 14: The Constituent Assembly Secretariat has finalized names of the members being sent to collect public opinions in every village of the country.
According to Mukunda Sharma, spokesperson of the CA secretariat, the CA members (except those in the cabinet), CA chair and vice-chair, have been divided into forty groups. “Prime minister, ministers, CA chair and vice chair can participate in the campaign anywhere they want,” he said.

Former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has been assigned to Kathmandu whereas Madhav Kumar Nepal, leader of the Communist Party of Nepal—United Marxist-Leninist has been assigned to Kailali, Kanchanpur and Dadeldhura. The groups will be led by the chairpersons of the CA or parliamentary committees irrespective of which committee they belong to.
If there is no such chairperson in the committee, senior most members will work as the coordinators of the committees.
