CA committees poll postponed

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: After failing to reach consensus among the major parties on sharing the posts of heads of committees, the Constituent Assembly on Tuesday changed its election schedule, the third time in a month. The election for the 14 CA committees will now be held next Tuesday instead of Friday, January 9, the date set earlier. "Instead of Poush 25 (January 9), Friday as the date for the election, the poll will now be held on Poush Masanta (January 13), Tuesday", CA Chairman Subas Nembang announced at the one-minute-long meeting held Tuesday.
