The kidnapped businessman has been identified as 32-year-old Gajendra Prasad Singh of Durgapur-8.
Singh was returning on a bicycle from his shop located in Golbazaar at 8 p.m. when armed individuals who came on a motorcycle abducted him. His bicycle was found near Asanpur, the police said.
