Silk Air awards Sumegh Travels
KATHMANDU: Silk Air on Friday felicitated Sumegh Tours and Travels as the top travel agent of the Singapore-based short-haul airlines for Nepal. Silk Air Country Manager Arasu Ettikan and RR Pandey, CEO of Everest Express, the general sales agent of the airlines, jointly gave away the award to Sumegh Tours and Travels, says a statement. Five other agencies also received awards of top agencies on the occasion.
They are Megabyte Tours and Travels, Kumari Tours, Osho World Travel, President Travels and Tours and Everest Express International. Likewise, the airlines also awarded top three cargo agents, including Unique Freight, Shangrila Freight and World Freight. Silk Air has been operating flights to Kathmandu since 2007. The airlines flies to 42 destinations of 12 countries.
