The locals of Chhisti made such demands with CA Member Poudel during his visit to the area to meet the affected community.
Dayanath Sharma, a local, asked CA member Poudel if his house was fit in to live. In reply, Poudel said only engineers could answer that.
“Then send us engineers,” Sharma was quick to reply back. He also urged CA member Poudel to make arrangements to help the affected locals to repair their houses damaged by the earthquake. Government must dispatch technical teams to the affected areas, according to Poudel, so that risky buildings do not end up hurting people.

According to District Administration Office (DAO), Baglung a total of 16,032 houses have been demolished completely in the district.
“In the initial phase, we’ve deployed four teams in the municipal areas. It will be difficult to inspect all the houses at once and sending teams to inspect homes in the rural areas will take even longer, he informed.
