KATHMANDU, Dec 29: All Nepal National Independent Students´ Union (ANNISU-Revolutionary), student wing of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) has decided to abolish private education system. The union, which on Monday made public decisions of its two-day Central Committee meeting of December 26 and 27, said it would push for multi-technical and vocation education across the country. A press statement, issued by the union, said it would also expose corruption committed by various student unions and administrations across the country. "In course of our initiative to expose irregularities in various campuses, we may come under physical attack. We will strongly counter all physical attacks across the country," the statement, issued by its president Lekhnath Neupane, said.

The union has also decided to put pressure upon Tribhuwan University administration to conduct election for student unions through proportional electoral system
