KATHMANDU, March 16: Nepal Police has recommended to take action against Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Parashu Ram Khatri who was injured in a brawl at a Dohari restaurant here on Friday.
Sources said the police probe panel submitted its report with this recommendation to the Home Ministry on Tuesday. A decision to take action against the ranks above DIG could only be taken by the cabinet itself.
The ministry is known to have planned forwarding the recommendation to the cabinet meeting.
