4 named for Public Service Commission

KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The Constitutional Council recommended four persons to fill the existing vacancies in the Public Service Commission on Thursday, said Minister for Law, Justice and Constituent Assembly Affairs Dev Gurung. Former secretary Tika Dutta Niraula, Dr Kayo Devi Yami, Professor Krishna Pokharel and Rajendra Prasad Sah have been recommended for the post of members in the commission.



Dr Yami is sister of Tourism Minister Hisila Yami and was working at Nepal Academy of Science and Technology as chief of Faculty of Science. Niraula retired a couple of years ago as water Resource Secretary. Pokharel hails from Biratnagar and is political science professor. University Reader Sah, a resident of Saptari District, was teaching science in Biratnagar.
