KATHMANDU, Jan 25: A bomb blast killed at least one person and left three others injured at Katahariya Bazaar of Rautahat district Sunday afternoon. According to Kantipur Television, the person killed in the blast that occurred at 4:30 pm is Jaya Narayan Mahato, 30, of Karmaiya VDC-4.He was a vegetable vendor.

Though the Tarai Army, an armed outfit, has owned up the blast, there is no evidence to substantiate the claim, the private TV channel said. The injured have been rushed to Birgunj for treatment.
