Moderate to heavy rain likely in some parts of Nepal

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: The low-pressure line of the monsoon is still in an average position on Monday, with the effects of the monsoon winds continuing.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), there is normal to partial cloudiness in the provinces of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki, while other areas are partially cloudy.

Similarly, Kavrepalanchok and Makwanpur are experiencing light rain.

According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of light rain in all provinces on Monday afternoon, with heavy rain likely in some places in the Koshi, Bagmati, and Lumbini provinces.

The DHM has stated that there is a possibility of less rain tonight compared to the afternoon.

Light to moderate rain is likely at a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini, with a chance of heavy rain at a couple of places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
