Snowfall on Valley rim while mercury dips

KATHMANDU, Feb 9: The ongoing weather phenomenon triggered by a new system of westerly disturbance brought heavy snowfall in the hills surrounding Kathmandu Valley on Saturday.The higher altitudes in the Shivapuri-Nagarjun National Park in particular experienced snowfall after a gap of many years.
