KATHMANDU, March 9: The Indian government has signed partnership agreements worth US$ 16.2 million with two United Nations bodies to provide technical support for the reconstruction of 50,000 houses in Gorkha and Nuwakot districts.

KATHMANDU, July 4: Bir Hospital, the oldest and biggest government hospital in the country, is again planning to buy a radiotherapy machine at a cost of US$ 4.1 million, an amount that is enough to purchase three such machines.
