LISBON, Oct 7: Portugal’s ruling Socialists won Sunday’s parliamentary election without an outright majority, official results showed early on Monday.

LISBON, Oct 6: Portugal’s center-left Socialists are expected to retain power and win more parliament seats in general elections on Sunday, after four years of economic growth, but still fall short of an outright majority.

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s governing Socialist party (PSOE) has won Spain’s general election, taking 123 seats in the 350-seat Congress in one of Spain’s most hotly contested elections in decades.
