Creating a shared future

The Silk Road came into being in the second security BCE as a result of silk trade. After thousands of years, trade between countries and regions along this route has been flourishing. Now, it has become a major path of trade, as well as cultural and friendly exchanges between the East and the West. It is not only a heritage of the past, but also a great initiative to create the future. The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is about the same.

BEIJING, April 27: Chinese President Xi Jinping said Saturday $64 billion in deals were signed at a summit on his Belt and Road Initiative and more nations would join the global infrastructure program as he sought to ease concerns over the colossal project.

BEIJING, March 30: China has never forced debt upon participants of its new Silk Road project as “prejudiced” critics have suggested, the country’s top diplomat said on Saturday in a strongly worded defense of a key policy platform of President Xi Jinping.

China’s “Belt and Road Initiative” (BRI) is reportedly burying some countries under massive debt.
