KATHMADNU, Feb 13: Hindu devotees across the country celebrated Maha Shivaratri, one of the biggest Hindu festivals, with a lot of fanfare on Tuesday. Over 350,000 devotees throng the Pashupatinath Temple to pay homage to Lord Shiva, according to the temple officials.
SYANGJA, Feb 12: The Chhayachetra Shiva Mandir Committee is all set to organize Shivaratri Festival at the temple’s premises to mark Hindu’s one of the greatest festivals Maha Shivaratri. Chhayachetra temple is situated at the border of Waling Municipality and Bheerkot Municipality of Syangja district.
The Pashupatinath Temple area was jam-packed with colorful Sadhus, devout pilgrims, and curious visitors from within and outside the country this Mahashivaratri too. Here are a few glimpses from the Sivaratri celebrations at Pashupati on Friday.
