In May 2023, India set a world record by constructing a 100 km road as part of the Ghaziabad-Aligarh Expressway in just 100 hours. This road project spans various towns and cities in Uttar Pradesh, including Dadri, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahr, and Khurja.

PARBAT, April 17: A road project has been completed a month before the agreed time. The road project linking Waribeni of Jaljala Rural Municipality to Mallaj has been completed a month prior to the stipulated time.

OKHALDHUNGA, Oct 2: Although contractor Rajendra Construction Company won the bid of constructing a bridge over Molung river at Mandre Dovan in Okhaldhunga along Okhaldhunga-Saghutar road section some six years ago, the bridge has not been completed yet.

DAILEKH, June 17: Thatikath Drinking Water Project which was recently completed and was about to be inaugurated has been severely affected due to an ongoing mid hill highway road project in Thatikath Rural Municipality. Water pipes laid at Bisalla area of the rural municipality have all been damaged due to the road construction. Lack of coordination between the drinking water and road departments has been blamed for the fiasco.

MYAGDI, May 30: Myagdi has given instruction to cease bridge construction works under the Beni-Jomsom-Korola road project. The Office cited the use of substandard construction materials in the construction of a cemented bridge over the Rahughat River and directed for the halt until a next notice.
