SOLUKHUMBU, MARCH 19: Two new earthquake resilient buildings were constructed at Junbesi Secondary School. The buildings were built with support from Harutaka Sakaiko, a Japanese national. The school's buildings were destroyed during the earthquake of 2015.
The annual observance of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly resolution 47/3 in 1992.
