KATHMANDU, April 6: Britannia, a preferred biscuit brand in Nepal, has provided personal protective equipment to the doctors of Narayani government hospital in Parsa as its support to contain the novel coronavirus.

TIKAPUR, April 3: Health workers deployed at several quarantine facilities set up by the government in the western region have complained of the lack of minimum protective equipment. As they have to handle even people potentially infected with the novel coronavirus, which is highly contagious, the lack of proper gloves, masks and thermometer guns has left them anxious.

GENEVA, Feb 7: The world is facing a chronic shortage of gowns, masks, gloves and other protective equipment in the fight against a spreading coronavirus epidemic, World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Friday.
