More RoR plants to get 'take or pay' PPAs

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: A recent decision of the Ministry of Energy has paved the way for hydropower producers, particularly those developing Run of River (RoR) type projects, to sign power purchase agreement with Neal Electricity Authority (NEA).

KATHMANDU, June 17: Hydropower producers are waiting for the signing of the power purchase agreement (PPA) with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for various hydropower projects of nearly 5,000 megawatt of electricity.
