KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Bangladesh is going to purchase 50 MW of electricity from Nepal. Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina informed about the matter during a courtesy meeting with the Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, Ghanshyam Bhandari, on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, Nov 29: India has given a positive signal that it would purchase electricity produced in Nepal. In a virtual discussion between the concerned bodies with the Ministry of Energy of Nepal and India, the Indian side said that it was willing to buy Nepal’s surplus electricity.
