KATHMANDU, Nov 17: Nepal Pashmina Industries Association (NPIA) has requested all concerned entrepreneurs to not sell other products with fake pashmina and cashmere labels.

KATHMANDU, June 22: Nepal exports pashmina to 47 countries of the world, the Pashmina Industry Association has stated.

TEPC and NPIA have different priorities

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: The government has repeatedly announced, since Fiscal Year 2012/13, that it would help to increase pashmina wool production in Nepal by giving special emphasis to improve conditions for chyangra (mountain goat) farming in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Nov 8: Official figures of pashmina exports in the Fiscal Year 2016/17 show a decline of 11.31 percent year on year. However, traders claim that real foreign currency earning through pashmina export is rising steadily.
