KATHMANDU, Dec 5: The students affiliated to the Nepal Students Union (NSU) close to the Nepali Congress (NC) have been padlocking the offices of the Tribhuvan University (TU)'s officer-bearers in connection to arbitrarily granting colleges TU's affiliation.

KATHMANDU, April 25: Student unions affiliated to various political parties have decided to padlock the accounts sections and administrative offices of private schools from Wednesday against the schools' unilateral fee hikes.

GORKHA, Feb 28: With the Free Students Union elections at least a week away, the All Nepal National Independent Student Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) affiliated to Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist has padlocked the gates of a college in Gorkha while an unidentified group has carried out explosion at another college in the district.
