Govt allocates around Rs 60 million for installing medical oxygen production plants at three hospitals

KATHMANDU, May 15: The government has allocated Rs 58.30 million to install medical oxygen gas production plants at three hospitals — Patan Academy of Health Sciences in Lalitpur, Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj and Dadeldhura Hospital in Dadeldhura district amid an acute shortage of the lifesaving gas leading to the deaths of a large number of COVID-19 patients on a daily basis.
